Hiemal From Latin hiemālis (“pertaining to winter”), from hiems (“winter”). A Discography Review: The cold front started here and has not let up over the past year. As the sounds (some field recordings + pads) moved across time, some of the soundscapes are shorter vignettes that are somber in tone while others are simply vast, expansive and desolate excursions.
